Music
Cephalalgia
I have written this 3 part piece as an exploration of my own headaches through sound. It’s an interpretation of the sensations felt at various stages of a migraine and is split into 3 sections.
Comorbid - 2 things happening simultaneously, which in this case refers to pain and anxiety
Aura - the disorientating sensation just before the pain, flashes of light, colour and confusion
Vestibular - a migraine with added vertigo.
Instruments used - Soprano saxophone, voice, bansuri flute, prepared piano, Moog Theremini, tabla and electric guitar.
Wonder
This project is inspired by and named after a piece of art by Alex Grey called ‘Wonder’ which depicts his daughter, Zena gazing up at the moon. It is a beautiful work and one of my favourites.
The first track, Wonder, responds to the sense of curiosity and intrigue. The second, Observe, is an interpretation of the observations made during meditation or mindfulness. The final part Renew, celebrates moving forward with a renewed energy after being curious and observing inner thoughts.
Instruments used - Alto Saxophone, voice, Kalimba, Moog theremini, mother 32 and minitaur, prepared piano and samples of a selection of saucepans.

Mothership
This project is inspired by the work of H.R Giger and the film Alien both of which I am a huge fan of.
Instruments used include- Alto Saxophone, Moog minitaur, Mother 32, Theremini and Piano.
